Spring break is almost here! BB Camp staff have come up with a list of great family friendly ideas to do during your break in the Portland area. Have a fun time off school!

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival – March 24-April 30 – This Portland favorite is an annual celebration of everything tulips (we recommend you get there early, as traffic does get hectic) The 40-acre farm lets visitors wander through and take pictures with the flowers, cow train rides, and fresh-cut flowers. more info

The Art of The Brick (Lego Exhibit) at OMSI – Spring break is a great time for you to visit everyone’s favorite Science Museum! If weather permits – take a walk over the Tilikum Crossing Bridge and see a a view of downtown Portland after! If you have time, you can also take The Portland Aerial Tram up and back (from right near the bridge!) for more spectacular views.

Visit Lincoln City (see where Camp is!) – In Lincoln City, there are miles to explore, seven miles to be exact. Discover some of our favorites. Ocean breezes. Rhythmic waves. Seven miles of sandy beach. Come, find your smile!

Play in the snow – Mount Hood is still full of snow! Go Skiing or Tubing at Ski Bowl!

Local Hike – Our favorite past time in Portland! Here are some great kid friendly hikes.

Umbrella Festival and Food on Alberta – Spend a day at the Alberta Arts District – see acrobats the Umbrella Festival’s Family Matinee and enjoy some grub and galleries on Alberta Street. ShedRain, a BB Camp favorite, will be giving away umbrellas at the event!

Get Ready for Passover – explore new recipes with the kids, do some spring cleaning, have the whole family come up with
ideas for the Seder
