Maccabee Kehila Program

The Kehila program provides a meaningful one week experience for children with special needs. Kehila campers will enjoy all that BB Camp has to offer while having the opportunity to experience Jewish camping and make connections with other children.

Massada Younger Unit

Campers enjoy a wide spectrum of popular camp activities that encourage new skills. Includes a beach day trip and an overnight under the stars.

Sinai Older Unit

Campers enjoy a wide spectrum of camp activities while exploring their identity. Includes a 3-day overnight, whitewater rafting, and discovering the great outdoors.

K’Far Noar – Teen Village

Teen Village Unit focuses on social development and self-esteem building using a blend of fun trips and leadership training.

L.I.T.- Leaders in Training

Teens acquire leadership skills while learning middot (Jewish values) and performing mizvot (good deeds). Includes a rock climbing trip to Smith Rock.

L.I.A.- Leadership in Action

Through experience-based activities, educational workshops and group-oriented discussions, teens will learn leadership and counseling skills.

Outdoor Jewish Adventure

Through experiencing Judaism in the wilderness, teens will discover spirituality and the wonder of nature in a Jewish context. The OJA campers will spend four of their 15-day outdoor adventure trip at BB Camp. The remaining days will be spent hiking the Oregon coast, kayaking, backpacking on Washington’s Mt. Rainier, camping in St. Helens National Park, summit the (sleeping!) volcano, and more.
