ABOUT THE TRIP

Campers will join together with teens from other Jewish Camps to explore Israel. BB Camp teens will follow an itinerary crafted specifically for BB Camp, filled with unique active experiences at various “must-see” destinations throughout Israel. Participants will learn about Israel’s history and partake in discussion and hands-on learning to discover how Israel fits into their personal narrative. Teens will discover the beauty of Israel’s culture on this incredible adventure!

OJA in Israel is organized to follow a chronological timeline of the Jewish people. Beginning the trip in the Negev desert of Israel and ending in Tel Aviv with many stops along the way!
FAQ’s
BB Camp leadership will be in daily communication with BB Camp’s OJA trip staff and JCC Maccabi Israel Trip organizers. BB Camp will send weekly parent communication with trip highlights and updates.
If traveling abroad becomes challenging due to COVID-19, no problem! BB Camp is committed to creating innovative programs. If necessary, we will pivot to a more traditional OJA in the Pacific Northwest. Either way, we will provide an incredibly meaningful experience for your children this summer. Please click here to see BB Camp’s general COVID-19 protocols. Please keep in mind that COVID-19 mitigating protocols stated in the FAQ will be adapted to fit an Israel travel trip and current state protocols. Families will be updated with any changes as they arise.
