Hello BB Campers (of all ages) and Families!

If you live in Oregon or SW Washington, you may already be aware of the PDX-Israel Trip planned by The Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, March 18-29, 2020, and falling during Spring Break for many schools.

I had been trying to plan a trip to Israel for my own family, so I was curious (if not initially skeptical). When asked by the BB Camp Board to be BB Camp’s representative for this trip, I was happy to accept, as I knew this would be a great way to learn about the trip.  Now that I know more, I want to help you determine whether this might be the right trip for your family.  No pressure, I promise! I’m just here to make sure that you have all the information you need and want.

We would love our BB Camper families and friends to join us on this trip.  Bringing the BB Camp ruach (spirit) to Israel would make this trip unforgettable.

For those of you who have a Bar or Bat Mitzvah on the horizon, you may even wish to consider doing it on this trip!

To learn more about this trip, head over to the PDX>>Israel 2020 Webpage:  https://www.pdxisrael.kenes-tours.com.   Take advantage of the Early Bird Discounts, ending November 15!

Here is a listing of the informational sessions planned for the next two weeks.  There are morning and evening options, one at PJA, one home-hosted and the remainder online.  Hopefully you can find an option that works for you.

For the PJA session only, please RSVP directly to me: staceylo@mac.com

For ALL OTHER SESSIONS, RSVP to Federation at:  PDXISRAEL2020@JEWISHPORTLAND.ORG

In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to send questions either to me at: staceylo@mac.com, or directly to Federation at: PDXISRAEL2020@JEWISHPORTLAND.ORG

Looking forward to traveling together for this trip of a lifetime!
