SPRING EVENT RECAP
BB Camp Bash – April 29th
On the evening of Saturday, April 29th, BB Camp held its annual gala fundraiser, the BB Camp Bash, at The Loft on 8th Avenue, and simultaneously in the Desert for our annual Bash South. The theme of the 2023 Bash was Soul Celebration, honoring the many ways in which the Camp experience is good for the soul, with a specific emphasis on the mental, emotional, and social health (MESH) programming that BB Camp prioritizes. Kathleen Voboril of Corporate Karaoke warmed up the crowd with a musical camp parody for featured entertainer Taylor Williamson, a stand-up comedian with national recognition and accolades. Over 175 friends and supporters gathered and collectively raised over $160,000!

Spaghetti Dinner
Thursday, May 18th was a lively evening in the camp dining hall – the 5th Annual Spaghetti Dinner! The delicious pasta meal was made complete by the over 75 local Lincoln County attendees engaging in a riveting game of Heads or Tails, touring camp, and participating in a fun raffle. Collectively, we raised $12,500! Spaghetti Dinner proceeds directly impact Lincoln City Day Campers by sending them to camp on scholarship, helping hundreds of children create meaningful, life-long memories this summer at Camp.
Pizza in the Park
This spring BB Camp hosted several Pizza in the Park events throughout the Pacific Northwest, including in Portland, Seattle, Bend, and Corvallis! We even had a special Pizza and Paddle in Willamette Park to give campers a taste of what the specialty BB Surfs track entails. Collectively we had over 200 attendees at these fun pizza parties, and campers had the chance to connect with friends old and new.
